Back 4 blood disconnected from server Offline#
We knew back in June that Back 4 Blood wouldn't have an offline mode at launch, but players were upset that the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead didn't make offline play an option. You'll be able to play solo offline matches to progress through the campaign sometime next month - but note that means you won't be able to split-screen co-op, just play solo offline. This November, expect quality of life improvements and major bug fixes, while December will bring one of the most highly requested features since Back 4 Blood's launch: offline mode. We hope they listen to the player feedback and fix the Dead by Daylight automatic disconnection issue as soon as possible since it is making the game completely unplayable for many. Unfortunately, Dead by Daylight developers (Behaviour Interactive) seem to be unaware of the problem since they are yet to comment on the matter. What the Hell game ?! this happened to me twice yesterday and twice today, the server just kicked me out ( disconnected by it self for no reason ) and I got 58 minutes penalty even tho I don’t leave the server kicked me out, I stopped playing yesterday and today, this happens to me before the recent update like only once or twice a week but it’s fking daily. Assuming it happens during a match, everyone/everything around me freezes in place and then 30 seconds later I’m kicked out of the match with a disconnect penalty. When it’s in the lobby, the timer will just stop counting down after a while and then it’ll kick me out of that lobby back to the que screen.
Ever since last Friday, it’s been almost impossible for me to get more than two games in at a time without getting disconnected from the host - either in the lobby, or during a match. Some have tried generic troubleshooting solutions such as restarting the game, verifying game files on Steam, and reinstalling the game but the issue persists. It looks like the problem surfaced after the recent update. The issue seems to be angering a lot of players since they are unable to play the game even though they are not at fault. That said, Dead by Daylight players are now saying they are getting banned or penalized due to an automatic disconnection issue ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
